Success Criteria

2.2.2 Sequential Navigation Between Viewports: The user can move the keyboard focus backwards and forwards between viewports, without having to sequentially navigate all the elements in a viewport. (Level A)

Test Procedure 1

Note: It is recommended that you test several different types of elements.

  1. Identify methods of sequential navigation between enabled top-level viewports (e.g. UNKNOWN).
  2. Open a test document that contains iframes and scrolling divs containing rendered text and a variety of enabled elements (e.g. links and form controls).
Sample HTML test document: test page with rendered text and enabled elements in iframes-scrolling_divs
  3. Check that you can move keyboard focus sequentially from one viewport to the next both forwards and backwards.

Expected Results 1

  • Check #3 is true
