Success Criteria

1.8.3 Provide Viewport Scrollbars: When the rendered content extends beyond the viewport dimensions, users can have graphical viewports include scrollbars, overriding any values specified by the author. (Level A)

Tests

Test Procedure 1

  1. Open a test document that is sufficiently long to extend beyond the viewport and where the scrollbars have been suppressed by the author.
    Sample HTML test document: suppressed scrollbars
  2. Check that there are scrollbars.

Expected Results 1

  • Check that #2 is true
