Not exactly sure what needs to be done here, but I thought I'd share this collapse1/expand script we've used for a client of ours: <http://altergoformation.com/en/>. Based on all the tests that were run, it appears that it would be accessible. We can clean it up and provide it as a replacement if you want it.

Another expand/collapse that allegedly works accessibly is from the Canadian Government's WET - <http://ircan-rican.gc.ca/projects/gcwwwexpand-affich>. It does use jQuery and WAI-ARIA - "This jQuery solution not only mimics the industry norm of using associative imagery, but also allows you to create unique and descriptive link text to inform all users of the state of the content".
