Publishing Documents on the Web

Publishing on the web is as simple as saving a document locally:

• Resources are written remotely by the HTTP PUT method
• URLs are updated according to the document address
• Images are saved with the document

Two implementations of HTTP 1.1 are available:

• libwww, in C
• Java classes from the Jigsaw server.
