We'll probably investigate:

• Comparison of Deflate and modem compression
• Investigation of binary/tokenized protocol representations

We'll probably not investigate:

• Range requests could bear further investigation
• Possible optimization of compression dictionaries
• Quantification of CPU time savings
• Time to Render
• Better understanding of connection management policies
• More recent trace data to help understand Web performance issues and connection management policies
