1.4. Where can I find the sRGB specification?

The sRGB (Standard RGB) color model is a color model that uses three numbers to uniquely identify every perceivable color. The numbers represent the amounts of red, green and blue (RGB) light, when measured relative to a certain monitor and certain viewing conditions (a so-called "profile"). sRGB was developed by the ICC (International Color Consortium) and adopted by W3C for use in CSS. It is ideally suited for on-screen displays, but can also express printed colors. The specification can be found at URL:

http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Michael_Stokes/srgb.htm

In CSS1, the sRGB model is used to define the exact, device-independent color of expressions like #A7C7FF and rgb(15%,15%,75%).
