Why Graph Stylesheets (1/2)?
- Node-link diagrams can make the graph structure easier to understand than textual serializations (RDF/XML, etc.)
- But large models produce big and sometimes over-cluttered diagrams
- To address this problem, IsaViz 1.x mainly offered solutions focusing on enhancing the navigation:
- a 2.5D user interface allowing smooth zooming (perceptual continuity)
- diagram overview in a separate window (radar view)
- search and advanced selection capabilities
