1 Introduction

1.1 Purpose of this document

This document defines MLW-LT metadata, following the [www.w3.org/2011/12/mlw-lt-charter.html MLW-LT Working Group charter].

1.2 Approach

The definitions of metadata are implementation oriented: only metadata definitions that we can assure to have two interoperable implementations will be added to this draft.

1.3 Relation to ITS 1.0

This document is the successor of the ITS 1.0 specification. Like ITS 1.0, Implementation of metadata follow conformance clauses like http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/REC-its-20070403/#its-conformance-2-1. Like in ITS 1.0, implementations of this specification will only require the implementation of a single data category.
