- For author-defined named colors it's possible to use the solidColor element (which is a paintserver) or to define a gradient with only one color (also a paintserver).
In SVGT12 it's not possible to use these paintservers in some situations, e.g viewport-fill, stop-color. This limits the usefulness of solidColor somewhat. - Related Actions Items:
