This is an archived snapshot of W3C's public bugzilla bug tracker, decommissioned in April 2019. Please see the home page for more details.
The specification uses terms which are undefined or not clearly defined: "track" "in-band track" "sourced track" "media resource" "media container" The specification should either define them or reference a definition from another spec (e.g. HTML). The specification is sometimes confusing when it uses the terms "track". It is unclear if it is talking about a track in the media container or a XXXXTrack object in the HTML JS API. In particular the use of upper case "Text Track" should be "TextTrack" as it refers to the JS Interface. It would be beneficial to the reader if the terms where linked to their definition and if special styles were used to visually differentiate defined terms from JS Interface. I volunteer to do this editing. A possible example of changes (limited to the introduction for now) are given in this pull request: https://github.com/w3c/HTMLSourcingInbandTracks/pull/26 The result can be viewed as a diff here: http://services.w3.org/htmldiff?doc1=https%3A%2F%2Fraw.githubusercontent.com%2Fcconcolato%2FHTMLSourcingInbandTracks%2Fw3c%2Findex.html&doc2=https%3A%2F%2Fraw.githubusercontent.com%2Fcconcolato%2FHTMLSourcingInbandTracks%2Fmaster%2Findex.html
