+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #23026 +++ ARIA: UL should allow role overrides of group, menu, and possibly more roles. "https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/pfwg/raw-file/tip/ARIA/1.0/tests/test-files/_functional/tree/ariatree.html":30:21: error: Bad value “group” for attribute “role” on element “ul”. The group role is used properly in this tree example to denote sub-tree branches. It will be used similarly for menus. http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/aria/complete#group
