Audio-ISSUE-61 (AudioPannerNodeModels): AudioPannerNode models underdefined [Web Audio API] http://www.w3.org/2011/audio/track/issues/61 Raised by: Marcus Geelnard On product: Web Audio API https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/audio/raw-file/tip/webaudio/specification.html#AudioPannerNode The panning models (EQUALPOWER et.al.) are undefined.
Meeting minutes, 23 May 2012: « Next on the agenda was the reference to OpenAL in the web audio spec, as mentioned in ISSUE-61. The web audio api draft only gives a rough reference to OpenAL in AudioPanner and AudioListener, and that is problematic because we cannot find the IP licensing terms of that spec, nor do we know whether we could quote parts of the spec without copyright issues. Doug will investigate. » Assigning to Doug. Will revisit once the IPR concerns are cleared or clarified.
