Specification: http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/multipage/the-video-element.html Multipage: http://www.whatwg.org/C#dom-media-startdate Complete: http://www.whatwg.org/c#dom-media-startdate Comment: What is startDate when the timeline offset is NaN? Posted from: 83.218.67.122 by philipj@opera.com User agent: Opera/9.80 (X11; Linux x86_64; U; Edition Next; en) Presto/2.10.269 Version/12.00
I assume it should be the same as new Date(NaN) or possibly null, but <http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/multipage/infrastructure.html#create-a-date-object> doesn't actually define what happens when "a particular time" is NaN.
This bug was cloned to create bug 18110 as part of operation convergence.
Checked in as WHATWG revision r7382. Check-in comment: Clarify that Date objects can represent NaN values. http://html5.org/tools/web-apps-tracker?from=7381&to=7382
