ISSUE-453: Clarify relation between forcedDisplay and visibility in intro statement
forcedDisplay intro text
Clarify relation between forcedDisplay and visibility in intro statement
- State:
- CLOSED
- Product:
- TTML IMSC 1.0
- Raised by:
- Nigel Megitt
- Opened on:
- 2015-10-16
- Description:
- The introductory text to itts:forcedDisplay is currently:
"itts:forcedDisplay allows the processor to override the computed value of tts:visibility attribute in conjunction with an application parameter displayForcedOnlyMode."
This could easily be misread as saying that the computed value of tts:visibility is actually modified by itts:forcedDisplay, which is not intended, and not what the following normative statements say.
I propose the following replacement introductory paragraph:
itts:forcedDisplay can be used to hide content whose computed value of tts:visibility is "visible" when the processor has been configured to do so via the application parameter displayForcedOnlyMode.
