Include Profile Designator in Profile Definition Document

Raised by:
Pierre-Anthony Lemieux
Opened on:
Just as a XML Schema Definition document specifies the targetNamespace, the Profile Definition Document should specify the associated Profile Designator. The idea is have a self-contained definition that binds Designator and set of Definitions.

The @designator attribute has already been added to the ttp:profile element in TTML2. Is any further action required?

Already addressed with @designator attribute. This should be closed.
