Debating about the reviews rating

Hi,

I have a question. Should we include the ratings in text next to the star
of ratings. For example, 3 star yellow out of 5 star. Should we said the 3
out of 5. Should we mark this is a failure for sensory characteristics if
the page only uses stars only without the use of wording? Amazon did a good
job in this handle of the rating reviews.
