Meeting minutes

Standup

Helen: round robin?
… I’ve attended 3 subgroup meetings
… user control, images and media alternatives, and sign languages
… done some tests as well
… they were concerned that it was automation tests only
… so I’ve done some manual testing
… gave Kevin some examples
… staying quiet on images for now

Sage: I haven’t been able to attend my group meeting
… and can’t tomorrow because of the 4th
… but I attended last Friday, but no one else did

Helen: since Jean-Yves is leaving, can I help out, Sage?

Sage: sure, thank you

Helen: make sure you gain access to their Slack

Sage: I encourage my group to get in touch async

giacomo-petri: not much progress on ACT rules in my subgroup
… we are working on some definitions for multistep process
… I think ACT rules were beneficial to reveal the need to edit those definitions
… we are moving on to more abstract content
… need to finish that before we proceed with rules
… no discussion of rules last week
… we sent one for survey: page/view title
… will be a group of 4 provisions, but need to be refined
… in order to make things unambiguous and address subgroup participants’ concerns, we need to refine them
… I’m a little bit concerned about the expectations of the group
… we need balance: progress versus perfection
… but we have 1 provision complete and sent for survey

<Helen> Adam: Not much to say on the Inputs group and not made much input being made. As on a loop.

<Helen> ... I am following Kevin and Ken on how to get them out and into the template.

Kathy: the text & wording subgroup met yesterday
… went over “Text detectable” provision
… Alastair attended
… got his feedback
… so it’s moving along
… there are a few other requirements they’re working on
… making some progress

Other topics

Helen: anyone have other topics?

Sage: I’ll also reach out to Wilco to see if he could back me up on my subgroup
