Meeting minutes

Facilitated Payment Link Type in HTML

Ian: I anticipate today sending a call for consensus to take up Facilitated Payment Link Type in HTML as a Recommendation track deliverable of this WG, as permitted by our charter. As part of your consideration of the question in the call for consensus, please have a look at Comparison of Wallet Technology on the Web which we presented recently, and gives some background for the proposal.

TPAC agenda review

(Ian walks through the WPWG TPAC agenda)

NickTR: Thanks Ian for the prep of the agenda!

(Ian: My pleasure)

NickTR: "Level" in the WebAuthn context is basically "version"

NickTR: I'd like to put together a framing document for the meeting

Gustavo: I'll unfortunately miss this TPAC.
… the Japan market is so interesting and different from ones we typically consider.

(We walk through the WPSIG agenda, which is Member-visible even though the procedings of the discussion will be public at TPAC.)

Jean-Luc: It's a good time to look at different protocols and think about how to avoid fragmentation.

<vasilii> +1 I too think it is a great opportunity to this group and w3c in general to solve payment use cases for agentic commerce
