Meeting minutes

New Business

Fazio: Email from government worker in Australia and who used the maturity model exactly how we would've wanted it used. Three orgs recently used how it was specified, and who also customized it to their needs. It lets us know that it works.

Fazio: The email did have feedback that is useful and the feedback will be reviewed.

SusiPallero: Got message from Swedish government, exploring how to map similarities to EN, which is already close to ISO, so that W3C maturity model can serve as guidance. They would love to talk about working together.

Fazio: Read out the email...

Fazio: It's feedback for future releases.

CharlesL: Confirmed that what was in the email that was similar to the experience he had when using the model. They're good points for future consideration.

Triage New Github Issues

<Fazio> w3c/maturity-model#318

<gb> Issue 318 Term Proof Point Isn't Clear (by Helixopp) [Editorial] [Substantive]

Fazio: 318 is work Sherri was doing on customizing the model. Sherri's suggested text and the rest of the feedback on that feedback were added to the issue.

<CharlesL> +1 I like it as well

janina: likes the suggested text as well and thinks it should be added.

CharlesL: Asked about a change log for the document

janina: Change log will be formed once its published. Those this can be noted as part of the vendor comments that took place before the next note comes out.

janina: Will be making some additional edits, including more on keeping a list of changes and customizations. Imagines a future where there are standard reports, which would make it very important to have change documented.

Mark_Miller: As we add proof points, it could be added burden for those using the model to address added ones.
