ACT stand-up

Helen - not much, planned meetings

Helen - Spare time is not easy to find, so we've explored more working sessions

Sasha - Doing reviews, reviewed Wilco's PR to replace page for filtering, organizational restrictions caused some issue, but fixed now

Sage - Not much, too busy with paid work

Carlos - Just attending meetings

Adithya - First call, just joined W3C recently and still feeling out everything

Carlos - let's do introductions as Adithya's first call is today

Everyone introduces themselves

Pull Requests wanting Reviews - 1 open issue

Helen - Reviewers wanted filter - rule 2301

Helen - Sage and I need to review this, Adithya may need to be added to the repo to contribute

<sashanichols> I've reviewed so many PRs lately I would prefer to do actual work now :D

Confirmed Adithya needs to be added or invited to do reviews

Carlos - Reiterates we can only count one review per organization, but that doesn't mean there's no value in multiple people from one org reviewing

Issues to review - 68 issues with no labels

Helen - We have all bugs with no labels

Helen - issue 1299 - can we skip because Carlos has answered?

Helen - As it was answered by Carlos in 2020 and the person hasn't responded, can we close it?

Helen - Issue closed with note

Helen - issue 1446 - from September 2020 jym77

Helen - Opens related pull 1661

Carlos - Doesn't believe they got to a point with an acceptable definition, couldn't get test examples because we can't get a livestream running 24/7 that would work with W3C requirements

Carlos - We looked into traffic and nature cams, but found no guarantee that they would never be taken offline, terms and conditions issues caused issues as well

Helen - Can we get the tester to identify their own example for the livestream?

Carlos - May want to open an issue for that

Helen - Adding a comment to explain issue with livestream examples to issue 1446

Helen - Adding label Rule Update

Helen - Looking at issue 1458

Helen - Reviewing thread, there's a draft on a PR, and this is a Rule Update item

Helen - Adding label Rule Update

Helen - Issue 1502

Helen - Reviews thread

Carlos - This will be closed with PR 1655 completion

Helen - Adds Rule Update label

Helen - Issue 1517 - Reviewing thread

Helen - Currently assigned to someone who is no longer part of group, though he said we could close the issue

Helen - Linked to a closed PR 1548

Helen - Looks like the issue became obsolete or otherwise a non-issue

Helen - Closed issue with comment

Helen - Issue 1542 - Wilco's thoughts

Helen - Issue is about automating, and is that taken care of with the new changes Wilco implemented?

Helen - Closed issue with comment, and Wilco can reopen if needed

Helen - Issue 1545 - Is this the same as one we mentioned earlier this meeting?

Carlos - That issue mentioned it would be opening a new issue, this must be that. It's a draft

Carlos - No one has worked on this

Helen - Notes a conversation with original poster where it was confirmed they won't be able to work on it for some time. Should we close it?

Carlos - Does this have the Help Wanted label? No

Helen - Adds Help Wanted label

Added rule update label as well

Helen - One last issue - Issue 1579, which is rejected

Helen - Related PR - 1802, which is closed

Helen - Close this because the PR is closed?

Helen - closed with comment

Helen - Just kidding one more - Issue 1588

Helen - Reviewing thread, "repeated items" is subjective because it's not classified very well

Carlos - Situation Kathy raised was handled in the composite rule

Helen - And that was closed

Helen - closed with comment

Carlos - If Kathy wants, she can reopen it

Carlos - Adithya has been added and that is taken care of

Helen - thoughts on today's session?

Adithya - Interesting that we're focusing on a lot of things and in addition to own organization's work

Adithya - The call helped understand many things moving forward

Sasha - Was wondering because we had to spend almost all meeting time today going through issues, can we do it differently so that it takes less time?

Carlos - We did this sort of thing once every 6 months or year to see what we could do with issues that built up

Carlos - Adithya, hopefully this was a good introduction to you, because we sometimes go into deeper technical discussions. This was different from our usual meetings

Carlos - Because we don't have items with agenda tags, this felt like a good opportunity to take the time to do this

Helen - We're trying to understand how to get productivity going knowing everyone has limited bandwidth

Helen - We have two weeks to come up with an idea for how to do this

Carlos - next week is office hours
