Meeting minutes

New Business

update on publication progress

fazio: janina still working on the introduction

sheri: updated real-time and sent right out after the meeting

fazio: will look and aim to merge this week. we're getting through github issues, waiting for intro. this week I'll get to research updates and organize the doc alpha. then we'll get to style guide.

Janina: management not doing anything. will need to ping to ask if they have concerns. should do this early august. won't get much review in Aug. Height of summer, people will be out. Need to give enough review time to count 3-4 weeks in sept and so forth

jennifer: (from zoom chat) My mic seems to be not working well. Let me know when the spreadsheet will be ready for the accessibility improvements we discussed.

fazio: go ahead and dp a pull request and I can push them

jeff: alpha order is just sliding the tabs around, so pushing issues not an issue

<Fazio> ack: jkline

jeff: do we have a date to plan and publish? Tentative date for publish?

fazio: height of summer, don't push during this month, so early August we'll push and publish end of august

jeff: a couple of weeks ago, talked about a tool where they could take spreadsheet and upload - anyone remember that?

fazio: how long ago (to look at minutes)?

jeff: 3-4 weeks ago

jeff: assuming we can find, need to get them in here to give a demo to see this.

charles: that was a colleague of mine (john). we can schedule something like that later in the summer, he can show what he did with ourmaturity model for school districts

fazio: look into those AI tools for spreadsheet into an HTML doc

sheri: spreadsheetweb and glide

stacey: gemini (paid account) can create an HTML canvas from a spreadsheet

sheri: needs to save client side (not public) for privacy and security. Don't want it saved on W3C servers.

charles: spreadsheet - moving tabs around to new order. Remember, reflect those same movements in the data visualization page of column ordering of those tables and the like

stacey: no q

charles: do reordering first, then take updated spreadsheet and make improvements to it

fazio: I'll get reordered, then you can submit for updates

Minutes manually created (not a transcript), formatted by scribe.perl version 244 (Thu Feb 27 01:23:09 2025 UTC).
