Meeting minutes

Minutes

McCool: review minutes from June 25, 2025: https://www.w3.org/2025/06/25-wot-uc-minutes.html
… Kaz fixed the issues I mentioned last time
… minutes are quite short, looks like part is missing, but resolutions to merge PRs #363 and #359 were passed in the main call, and I did merge them.
… any objections to approving even though they seem incomplete?

Mizushima: no objection

McCool: approved

Planning

McCool: with #359 and #363 merged, we can get a better idea of what to do next
… looking at the current version... there are about 53 broken links https://w3c.github.io/wot-usecases/#respec-offender-broken-local-reference-found-in-document-16
… but a lot of these seem to be due to links to stakeholder definitions which I need to create anchors for.
… there are probably also some broken links to the material that I have removed.

It also looks like the "Stakeholder" PR did not get merged...

McCool: any objection to merging PR #354

w3c/wot-usecases#354
… merged
… new issue created for followup: w3c/wot-usecases#365

McCool: should use defn tags as in https://www.w3.org/TR/wot-thing-description11/#terminology
… for external definitions, suggest adding a definition of each for linking but define should just say "defined in [[wot-security]]."

McCool: ok, it looks like after merging the Stakeholder definitions there are still three broken links, but it is due to a typo, "Maintainter", easy to fix.
… let's add a fix to that to the PR for the "definition" update.
… the good news is that there do not seem to be any other broken links e.g. to the material that was deleted.
… I added a summary of what I think was discussed to issue #365, "Revise Stakeholders", please review. We will clean up the mechanical issues, then deal with these content issues.

let's close Issue #307, reorged, revision is in a new issue now

McCool: created another issue to clean up and add details to the Security and Privacy User Stories, assigned to myself (McCool): w3c/wot-usecases#367

McCool: another other business?

Mizushima: no

McCool: adjourn
