Meeting minutes
scribe to today will get lots of appreciation and thanks!
Updates around the table
Janina: Path forward for Pronunciation, some tweaking with CSS
… Someone has implemented SSML support with NVDA
… Very successful F2F in Londo
Shawn: Let's get an update on pronunciation from Roy for our monthly update on WAI work
Janina: Sure
Janina: WAI-ADAPT -- well known destinations we think how to do this
Shawn: Is well known destinations under WAI-ADAPT?
Janina: Yes, from COGA requirements
Janina: How we deal with display of symbols we are dealing with at the moment
… And also looking at what else we may have missed
… RQTF -- we are going through GitHub issues
… Thanks Kevin, the Team has been really helpful, Ken has been very active, he's been prototyping, this is exactly what we need
Shawn: Have you talked to Jutta yet?
Janina: Not yet
<shawn> s/Yutta/Jutta
Janina: Maturity -- We expect to be there in June, still some issues to address
Janina: Started planning for TPAC. Also going through some issues with W3C Calendar
Kevin: If there is calendar issues, knowing them sooner would be beneficial
Shawn: Is it the calendar overall or the TPAC pages?
Janina: We like calendar except that agenda should be at the top
Janina: We've been using our own wiki but people suggested us that we should be using W3C pages
Janina: Daisy and user agents -- support for multiple streams of content, music, etc
Janina: We finally have multiline braille display
Lisa: Hoping to get new issue papers as Working Drafts, I think July or August
… Working Draft of the new structure proposal for Making Web Content Usable
… We are hoping to have citations in there
Lisa: Triggers, @@@, @@, and indoor navigation are four modules that we are looking forward to publishing
… We think having adjustable global settings for triggers would be the path forward
Shawn: We should look at how we message issue papers sooner rather than later. I'm not sure "issue papers" is clear enough?
Lisa: We are changing it now to modules
Shawn: Still we need to say what it is
… Can you work with Roy to bring that up in messaging right away? Also would be good to include Tamsin in the loop as well
<Zakim> shawn, you wanted to ask about contacts on AI and to ask about "issue papers"
Lisa: How do we do citations?
<Zakim> janina, you wanted to ask for one by one, not all at once
Janina: Please, for issue papers, one or two to start with, we can't handle more
… Let's prototype how we work wth them by reviewing one or two
… Citations -- RQTF has been working with W3C Team. We have a quick path through @@bibtext and respec using a biblio.js file
… You just have to export the @@bibtext
Lisa: I really need the end product. I think we are closed to it. We have around 75 citation
Janina: Let's talk tomorrow
Mary Jo: We worked on the WAI Overview page updates. Those haven't been published yet, still looking at Tamsin's comments, some comments change the meaning of what we are saying. I am going through those today to give feedback back
Shawn: Thank you for considering Tamsin's edits. IF there is anything that changes the meaning, just say "Thank you, that changes the meaning".
Mary Jo: Just trying to figure out what works and does not work
Mary Jo: Also worked on making sure the EN has the right WCAG2ICT advice
Mary Jo: Clarigying existing guidance, incorporating the WCAG2Mobile stuff that we think makes sense
Infoshare on other topics
Daniel: Have been working on gettgin WCAG 2.2 through ISO. Confirmation that 100% support in balloting. Revieved comments on CJK+ languages, as expected.
Mary Jo: timeline?
Daniel: Don't know yet. We have a few asks. Awaiting replies.
