Len: has completed 5 interviews on the new persona. There are themes coming up around confidence and trust. What can people do on their phone vs. a laptop - for example (visas, etc. are done on laptops vs. phones). People tend to want to see all of the controls and they didn't trust that when they went to a smaller viewport that they couldn't see
everything and that the mobile interface has reduced functionality.
Len: I will be working on crafting a top-level introduction for the persona. I need to start a list of potential scenarios to create a bulleted list and then we could prioritize from the list.
John: It's interesting that the simplified interface raises concerns that a person is not getting all that they need. It's interesting that that might create anxiety that a person is not getting what they need and what they are used to.
Len: The number of times a person
is asked for information and how it's asked - "tell me about
your doctor's appointment" is different about "tell about your
claim." The same thing is true for school - people had concerns
about the difference between registering and enrollment?
... It was interesting to see what this does to their trust and
their confidence. They would have an emotional response to
being asked for things multiple times and even though they saw
information on the screen, but they didn't have confidence that
they had provided the information needed, etc.
... I have 2-3 models set up, but should this be written from
the standpoint of the author or from the user?
