Meeting minutes

Minutes

Jan-29

McCool: Minutes for 01/29 are approved, subject to some small typo fixes (email sent)

Logistics

McCool: I will be unavailable in May due to my sabattical (I will be in Japan...) but also I plan to "retire" from the UC TF by end of March.

Mizushima: need to do some planning

McCool: yes; month-by-month
… feb, I think we need a few more user stories, clean up that process; do some HTML conversions (python script to convert YAML).
… march, reopening use cases; need a test case (ideally, a real one); all the way to HTML PR.
… also, by end of march we should have cleaned up issue backlog
… end of march, also have new note to publish; need to do other cleanup in the document first (stakeholder table, functional and technical requirements, etc).

PRs

McCool: only one PR, https://github.com/w3c/wot-usecases/pull/262, but still waiting for review from Ege, who could not attend today
… defer

Issues

McCool: need to do some cleanup

McCool: Issue #8 w3c/wot-usecases#8 might be a good test case for the Use Case Proposal template

McCool: there seem to be many possible use cases in the issue tracker, but not all are labelled as such
… (adds labels, also defines user-story and use-case-category labels)

McCool: propose closing issue #81, https://github.com/w3c/wot-usecases/issues/81, "Add Checklist for Deliverables to Requirements Template", as new user story template already links use cases to features/work items.

McCool: as for new use cases and user stories - technically these should be submitted by TFs. But we *could* draft something and ask the TF for approval. Let's discuss this in the main call.

McCool: issue w3c/wot-usecases#78 relates to the old process, will mark as "propose closing"
