UK Face to Face planning
matatk: Still booking things and quietly confident we'll be OK
matatk: Have created a wiki agenda:
https://
matatk:
Very rough beginning ...
matatk: Notes link to test scenarios
matatk: We need to confirm we've all the scenarios we want covered in that
Annalu: We need to decide whether or not to go to Google
janina: Keen to ensure we don't cut into working time.
Annalu: I will ask Google what's the latest they could do on Tuesday. Failing this, we could ask for Wednesday morning.
janina: Thanks for helping with this Annalu!
matatk: +1
matatk: Agree that we do have 2 days agenda
matatk: Any questions/ Responses?
janina: Asks whether we've thought about ordering in the agenda
matatk: Have thought about best practice but also registry
APA Re-chartering

HTML preview: https://
janina: I'm looking for input on those three modules - their replacements don't necessarily take us to 2027 - what more should we commit to?
Lionel_Wolberger: Simplification
Lionel_Wolberger: Summarization seems to be almost universally available (re GenAI). Some sort of best practices doc?
janina: that may be enough
Lionel_Wolberger: When I first joined Adapt, I really liked distration and trigger warnings.
… Of great interest to our COGA friends.
… Tensions with advertising though.
Annalu: I'm interested in AI from an AAC perspective.
… We could talk more about learning disabilities.
matatk: Re trigger warnings, research has suggested they can actually be triggering - though there are other options, like filtering things (and maybe saying _something_ was filtered).
janina: We have a mechanism that was proposed in APA some time ago that I think has legs. There's an injection of content... we analyze it... if it breaks accessibility, we reject it. Could be applied to ads?
Lionel_Wolberger: Ad accessibility has been an abiding interest.
janina: This could be added to the Edge CG?
Lionel_Wolberger: Yes perhaps
