Logistics

Due to vacations and holidays, next three meetings (Dec 18, Dec 25, and Jan 1) cancelled. Next meeting will be Jan 8.

Will still focus on requirements in Jan 8 meeting.

Templates

User Story Template

https://github.com/w3c/wot-usecases/pull/311

(jan, are you having trouble joining the zoom call?)

any objections to merging? This will make the template live but I think our next step will be to test it with actual user stories from TFs. I think we only want to accept user stories from WG members in the near term, however.

Mizushima: no objections

Use Case Category Template

https://github.com/w3c/wot-usecases/pull/312

Any objections to merging? This will make it live for testing.

Mizushima: no objections

Template Issue

McCool: related issue: https://github.com/w3c/wot-usecases/issues/308

McCool: shall we close this issue now?

Mizushima: yes

McCool: closed

Other PRs

Add UC-irrigation-in-outdoor-environment-1 as supporting use case

see https://github.com/w3c/wot-usecases/pull/256

McCool: choices are to merge, keep open, close without merging. If we merge we can reorganize later.

Mizushima: it is quite old

McCool: my opinion is we should merge, then reorganize

Mizushima: ok, let's do that

(merged)

PR #285

https://github.com/w3c/wot-usecases/pull/285

Mizushima: this was for the old template
… we are currently using the other file.
… think this PR should be closed without merging

McCool: ok, so it's obsolete. Let's close without merging.

PR #305

https://github.com/w3c/wot-usecases/pull/305

McCool: a little obsolete, since we now have an actual YAML template.

McCool: let's do some updates to make it consistent with our discussion and the template and merge it

McCool: think I would like to merge it, but we do have the old template still in the REQUIREMENTS directory and we should do some cleanup. Let's merge and create and issue to do the cleanup.

Mizushima: ok

McCool: merged, created issue https://github.com/w3c/wot-usecases/issues/313

Issues

Issue #301

McCool: this was about defining a requirements process based on user stories, which I think we have done.

Mizushima: yes

McCool: closed

Issue #304

https://github.com/w3c/wot-usecases/issues/304

McCool: This was about "feature request" but I think we have sorted out the process now and can close it. But will check with Cristiano. Will mark as "Propose Closing"

AOB?

Mizushima: nothing...

McCool: ok, adjourn
