Meeting minutes

<Daniel> B

jnurthen: on respec and commit history for each spec.
… we should be able to specify a file for the commit history.
… we could point it to a file or set up a config
… I'm not sure whether we need customization per file
… but even a config should be overrideable.

Daniel: as long as we can get different logs for different items, I think that should be sufficient.
… and flexibility for changes from commit range

jnurthen: that should be fine.

pkra: maybe should we skip, given the turnout?

jnurthen: yes, if noone else joins.

pkra: on another note: should we bite the bullet and roll out prettier to ARIA spec
… motivated by mattking's PR
… which added whitespace changes.

jnurthen: that would be good, if it's the right time.

pkra: just 41 PRs...
… and I'll start with the latest, we can do the stale ones when they come back to life.

jnurthen: sounds good.

rahim: TPAC question. Is it ok to spend 15mins on introduction for the IDL section?

jnurthen: it's not common but seems reasonable to me for IDL.
… as you said, it's deep.
… it will be useful to those need it and those who know it but not well.

rahim: thanks. I spent a lot of time on this and ended up with several dozen pages, just collecting the information.
… also discussed IDL with JamesC. The proposals have 5-6 solutions, so it's just a very large scope.

jnurthen: sounds very good and sounds like it could improve our work with WhatWG.

rahim: jamesC suggested starting with the worst one, then move upward.
… it's also useful to have a timeline.
… I'll add that to the wiki.

pkra: maybe add it to the docs folder?

rahim: cool. where?

pkra: hm... we never moved things over. But the documentation folder should be right.
… then we have a PR, get more eyeballs, get history etc.

rahim: sounds good.
