Meeting minutes

Lionel_Wolberger: Read the mail, and commented

matatk: A BCI ID is always a single integer
… if you turn to Unicode instead, you will likely often need multiple code points to express the symbol

Lionel_Wolberger: It seems the main point is, no matter how many or few Bliss symbols, when we add Unicode code points, we will need multiple unicode points for most of the Unicode entries

Russell: We will rarely get a single unicode code point for a single Bliss ID
… and the order is important
… like in spelling, the order of the characters is significant

matt: Taking a moment to honor the fact that getting this, this short, was quite difficult
… We can modify as follows? multiple bliss characters and will require multiple unicode code points

matatk: The numbers are significant. Sharing the sheer number of code points helps the reader grasp the scale of the challenge
… 1600 Unicode code points versus 6500 Bliss IDs is important

<janina> [discussion on how to show code and rendered symbols to make the points we need to make]
