RESOLUTION: Approve previous minutes

Update regarding timing of the group

pchampin: Charter runs until end of June 2024

roba: We'll work backward from that to get a draft for comment

pchampin: We need minimum 28 days for feedback, then it can go to PR
… then probably a month for transition from PR to REC
… so we need to gp to CR two months before end of charter

roba: So we aim to finalise end of March 2024

pchampin: We also need to have implementation report by end of April 2024

roba: Nick has one implementation, OGC has an own implementation, too

YoucTagh: Have implementation, too (Issue 57)
… waiting for input from Nick

roba: Will have a look at that, too
… any need for input ro finalise or is it only about feedback

YoucTagh: No, no additional input (except feedback) required
… but please check implementation

roba: Do we need two separate implementations for each feature?

pchampin: Yes, we need two separate implementations for each feature

roba: OK, will look into that together wich Nick, will put others as "feature as risk"

LarsG: No, no plans for implementation

pchampin: Charter says "two implementations for each fallback mechanism" (whatever that may mean)

YoucTagh: Documents refer to "the workshop", where fallbacks are "header based" an "URL-based"

roba: We should aim to have separate implementations of each feature
… with feature being "way of implementation"

YoucTagh: Haven't updated implementation report yet

roba: So that's an issue for both of us

YoucTagh: Have updated references in Impl. Report (Issue 58)

Liaison with IETF

pchampin: We need to sort this out before CR
… have sent mail to IETF people (mnot etc.)
… no reply so far. Will reach out again

roba: Can reach out too, mnot is in convenient time zone

ACTION: roba to reach out to mnot as soon as pchampin has reached out again

Open pull requests

https://github.com/w3c/dx-connegp/pulls

PR 60

roba: review done, will merge

PR 48

roba: will reach out to Nick about this one

Next meeting

roba: Everyone can to January 10, so we stick to that one

pchampin: Will mark the event on December 27 as cancelled

Open Issues

https://github.com/w3c/dx-connegp/issues

Issue 62

YoucTagh: Typo in document. Will propose PR

Issue 61

YoucTagh: inconsistent use of text/xml vs. application/xml
… we should use one consistently

LarsG: We should use application/xml (the other is discouraged)

roba: So we change text/xml to application/xml everywhere
… do we need to check implementations, too?
… At least request/response should be.
… Assign Nick and roba

YoucTagh: Will make PR

Issue 57

roba: Will add description of new Implementation (DCN) to implementation report

Issue 52

YoucTagh: Doesn't seen to need fixing

roba: Haven't implemented this feature

YoucTagh: Me neither

roba: Will assign self and Nick to ensure that implementations are consistent

pchampin: What about the discussion of range /w3c/dx-connegp#52 (comment)

roba: Will talk to Nick about that.
… Is everyone fine with merging once the issues are fixed?

<Everyone nods>

YoucTagh: Have created PR 63 for Issue 62

roba: Approved

roba: Can we delete branches after merging?

pchampin: There is no global policy, but yes, it makes sense.

YoucTagh: And one for the xml media types (PR 64)

roba: approved and merged

Issue 44

YoucTagh: Is marked as due for closing

roba: We should reference the resolution (which is PR 46)

<roba> seasons greetings!
