<CharlesL> +1 to including the date to the file name

<sheribyrne> Lionel_Wolberger_: will draft a cover sheet for the spreadsheet and send it to sheribyrne to integrate

<CharlesL> +1 to including the date to the file name

coversheet

Cover sheet

sheribyrne: To add in the cover all the updates so people don't have to go through all the tabs

sheribyrne: to draft what's new

janina: Adding to the wiki all the links pointing to relevant information about maturity

Lionel_Wolberger_: Since https://www.w3.org/TR/maturity-model/ is the first link discoverable in a search engine like Google

Lionel_Wolberger_: to change the link where the first result when googling w3c maturity model and suggests spreadsheet
… can we host the link to the latest Excel DL version in that doc?

janina: we cannot do that

janina: No, but we could link there to a wiki page, and on that wiki page change the spreadsheet with greater frequency

sheribyrne: Up until now the spreadsheet and narrative were being updated in lockstep, at the same time
… but as the narrative gets closer to being complete, it will not change as often, while the spreadsheet will likely continue to change
… the narrative has a link to the spreadsheet, in 2.4
… see https://www.w3.org/TR/maturity-model/, scroll to 2.4

janina: The /TR/ link is the latest published version; the Editor's Draft is in git
… W3C does not have a well defined term, 'the narrative'
… periodically the Editor's Draft (or working draft) is published to /TR/

Lionel_Wolberger_: Can there be a permalink to the excel file?

janina: There was a method of archiving files, but not sure if that's still around

<CharlesL> link would be https://w3c.github.io/maturity-model/#assessment-template

<CharlesL> Charles will add the spreadsheet to github once we have an updated cover page

<CharlesL> +1 to symbolic links

<CharlesL> each file name would be a unique by date in a sub directory for these updated future excel spreadsheets

<CharlesL> Charles: editor to help with the gitHub pull requests etc.

<CharlesL> Charles: to help Stacey tomorrow for Github issues.
