jasonjgw: They seemed interested in many points on media synchronization

jasonjgw: Multiple sign language tracks, for example

jasonjgw: Relationship with captions was raised

jasonjgw: Some discussion around when the text based scenarios without other media may not apply

jasonjgw: Another interest was XR-related scenarios with synchronized media

jasonjgw: Questions raised around graphical interfaces generated by the canvas element

jasonjgw: As far as we understand, 3-D canvas is still under development

jasonjgw: Future audio codecs with accessibility enhancements are also under development

janina: Think we want EPUB - DPUB involved in this discussion

janina: Minutes from the meeting will published soon

janina: Multilanguage support in new audio codecs was a good direction

janina: One concerning move was on movement away from HTML to Canvas to allow for more animation and TV-like content

janina: So far no issues in the MAUR repository, but expect some soon

janina: Michael Cooper is resigning his leadership role at end of July

janina: Roy will be our contact moving forward

janina: First part of August will be unavailable due to moving

janina: First week of August will not be able to attend meetings
