Questions about W3C, Inc
Cristina: Limited number of organizations in W3C, would be helpful to know about change. Could be helpful to publish in technical news?
Ralph: We know we are behind on a general press release about the changes. Coralie is working on it
AvneeshSingh: what about EPUB license and trademark, which was licensed to MIT?
Ralph: W3C board knows this is urgent to get to
George:
Around the Room
liisamk: The BG will meet on the 24th
… We'll get a sense of what people are intereseted in discussing
… We'll mention epubcheck and epub 3.3
… We'll see if people are interested in taking it on
… Anticounterfeit TF will pick up again
<Ralph> [Ralph leaves]
tzviya: if you are epub 3.2 compliant, you are usually epub 3.3 compliant, so it's not much of a lift
George: We have people that are really interested in citations and bringing up page numbers
liisamk: One thing I've heard is that pagination map is tough for people using the adobe export because it's not picking it up
… there's a conversation to have around how exact page numbering needs to be
