[Zhengyu introduces the PR]

Zhengyu: we need to distinguish 西文 and 西文字母

Zhengyu: I'll mark as 'checkme' where I'm not sure

Zhengyu: I also removed some 'checkme'

xfq: I'll discuss it with Richard

https://github.com/w3c/clreq/pull/489

[Discuss Richard's comments]

Eric: 标点 consists of 标号 and 点号

Zhengyu: what about changing 'puntuation' to 'interlinear mark'?
… 'annotation' looks like 注

[Discuss the translation of the word 标点]

Eric: 标点 and 'puntuation' are not exactly the same

https://r12a.github.io/scripts/han/#emphasis

xfq: Richard suggests that we use 'text decoration'

Zhengyu: I disagree, it's content, not style
… I think 'interlinear mark' is better

[Discuss the terminology]

Eric: we can discuss the shall/will/should terminology in a separate issue

xfq: I'll discuss it with Richard

xfq: "Sentence spacing" means the spaces inserted between sentences, but IIUC 句读 is a different thing...
… we can just use something like 'judou'

huijing: OK
… 'judou (old-style punctuation)'

[Discuss single/double-sided setting]

[Discuss the grammar of the original text]

xfq: I'll submit a PR

https://github.com/w3c/clreq/issues/496

[Discuss the differences between 'Chinese characters' and 'Han characters']

Zhengyu: 'Chinese characters' can be understood as the characters used in the Chinese language

Zhengyu: but 'Han characters' means the logograms used for writing Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese etc.
