Collaboration Accessibility User requirements.

jasonjgw: We gave the collaboration doc an extra week

janina: Happy with it - more feedback would be good, though

jasonjgw: Next step??

janina: Should be fine to do a CfC

janina: Need to decide the timing

janina: Mid December for comments?

<jasonjgw> https://w3c.github.io/caur/

janina: We need to change the title of the document - others do not like CAUR

janina: The current name is a publication blocker

MichaelC: Confirm that keeping the current name will delay things

janina: Probably becomes "Collaboration tools..."

<janina> DRAFT RESOLUTION: RQTF requests APA conduct a Call for Consensus (CfC) to publish Collaboration Tools Accessibility User Requirements as a First Public Working Draft (FPWD).

jasonjgw: Pushing the resolution to next week would give us more time to deal with retitling everything

janina: Pushing to next week for the resolution will not lose us much

jasonjgw: CTAUR becomes the short name

jasonjgw: I have a branch ready to go

MichaelC: You can push to main

jasonjgw: Have some journal articles to add as citations, but have not had a chance to review these

jasonjgw: Anything else on this?

Accessibility of digital wallets: exploring the issue.

jasonjgw: Last week we talked about discussing with Verifiable Credentials - that has begun

janina: We are asking them to point us to where to begin our reading on digital wallets

janina: Things like setting a preference so that captions are always on in all devices

janina: At some point this becomes the basis for an accessible method of providing a durable power of attorney and such things in a digital evvironment

Raja_Kushalnagar: In the USA, to affix a video or recording will count as a legally binding documentation

Raja_Kushalnagar: Will send information about this on the listserv

jasonjgw: We are concerned about both physical and digital access needs (such as an interpreter needed)

jasonjgw: Would there be an easy way of making it easy to only divulge the amount of personal data that is needed to authorize whatever the interchange might be

janina: We are hoping that the discussion with Verifiable Credentials will lead to the answers to that question

jasonjgw: There is an existing literature base that we can begin with

janina: Main caution that we should be precise and narrow on what we ask for in the way of background

jasonjgw: Seem like two parts: 1) issues raised by various applications 2) address the accessibility issues

janina: In some cases, things like captions can be useful to a wide audience, so being cognizant of that would be good

Miscellaneous topics.

Raja_Kushalnagar: Do we have a link for the digital wallets discussion?

janina: Not yet...we are just starting the discussion
