Widget

Xiaoping_Zhao: made some progress

https://github.com/w3c/miniapp-widget/pull/11

[Xiaoping introduces the changes to the PR]

Dan_Zhou: Yinli talked about accessing local files
… I think it may have security issues
… we should consider this
… I don't think the user need to acces local files
… only the developers need to access them

martin: in the Packaging spec, we're defining the local resources
… i think we need to specify how to access the local resources
… in the Packaging spec
… including the security considerations, if we decide to include it
… we can coordinate offline

Dan_Zhou: even if we need to access local files, we should use the file URI scheme

Zitao_Wang: we need to clarify the use cases
… is it for users or developers
… if it's for developers we can provide some API

Dan_Zhou: any other comment?

UI Component

martin: in the last meeting I presented some options re UI component
… we have done some research

[martin shares his screen]

martin: I will share the comparison after the meeting
… if you agree I will open an issue

Dan_Zhou: I think it's a very useful comparison

Zitao_Wang: if everything is ok, we can propose some draft
… and discuss it in TPAC next month

Dan_Zhou: any other comment?

[TPAC related discussions]

Dan_Zhou: online meeting?

xfq: likely

Zitao_Wang: for the Hackathon session, we want to teach people develop standardized MiniApps
… and deploy it on various platforms
… this will give developers more confidence to develop standardized MiniApps
… we want to invide people from JD to introduce their idea
… want to call more people, including miniapp developers
… I sent soem invitations, not sure if they have time to attend this meeting
… give me maybe one week to build the agenda

Dan_Zhou: did you invite the Taro team?

Zitao_Wang: yes

Dan_Zhou: any other topic?
… next meeting will be TPAC
