Meeting minutes

RQTF Meeting Debrief

Janina: The spreadsheet we can simply point to a URI in the notes in the document. However APA would prefer use of Excel.

Janina: It is more accessible and we could publish the Excel spreadsheet. What are the implications of that request?

Sheri_B-H: I think that's do-able.

jkline: I can't export the file as an Excel spreadsheet right now, traveling.

janina: I will send a link to the current spreadsheet to sheri.

Sheri_B-H: I will export the spreadsheet as Excel and check that the formulas work.

maryjom: Once that has been done and the Excel spreadsheet put to its location, I can change the URL in the document.

janina: RQTF logged a resolution for CfC for publishing the document pending migration of the spreadsheet to Excel.

Sheri_B-H: We might want to point out that the procurement page shows an example of how a scoring might work.

Sheri_B-H: The Excel version exported fine with the formulas, so all works fine.

jkline: The spreadsheet is missing instructions, so those will eventually need adding.

Sheri_B-H: Sent Excel spreadsheet to Janina to post and obtain a URI.

Sheri_B-H: Updated the CfC to reference the spreadsheet as an attachment.

janina: Will keep Mary Jo in the loop on how to change the document with respect to the references to the spreadsheet.

RESOLUTION: The Maturity Model Subgroup thanks RQTF for requesting a Call for Consensus from APA on a First Public Working Draft (FPWD) publication of our draft Maturity Model note-track document at https://w3c.github.io/maturity-model/index.html. An Excel spreadsheet that will assist users in implementing the Maturity Model will be attached to the CFC for review.

Group introductions for new member Brian O'Day

Janina: The CfC will go out tomorrow. Keep a look out for it.

Check in on publication announcement

Update on issues and pull requests

<Fazio_> MJ: multiple open issues but shouldn't hold up publication

maryjom: There is also a new issue opened this week by jason on Proof points should include measures of the extent to which processes are successful.

https://github.com/w3c/maturity-model/issues/91

maryjom: We can address these post-first publication.

Check in on publication announcement

maryjom: All build issues are fixed, and HTML errors are all fixed as well.

Update on build issues, errors in static HTML

Update on spreadsheet technology Editor’s Note

maryjom: Jeff did draft editor's note content and I added it. We should check if it's in the right place.

https://w3c.github.io/maturity-model/#assessment-template

janina: We need to change "Google Sheets" to "Excel". "is" to say "but is envisioned as HTML."

maryjom: I'll do that and send an email to the group when it is ready.

maryjom: I'll remove the link to the spreadsheet.

https://w3c.github.io/maturity-model/#communications-ratings-for-evaluation

maryjom: There is text in each dimenson's ratings for evaluation section that links to the specific page of the spreadsheet.

janina: We will have to work that out. I'll let Mary Jo know what to do.

Discuss approach for upcoming TPAC

<Fazio_> We will address next week
