Meeting minutes

<Sheri_B-H> Janina: Conversation about issue management is pending - will get Roy back some time

<Sheri_B-H> Sheri: was able to see templates for messaging, will create "maturity model" draft based on the XYZ template at https://www.w3.org/WAI/cc/wiki/WAI_Announcement_Drafts

<Sheri_B-H> MaryJo: opened some issues which we can work on, done a number of PRs

<Sheri_B-H> MaryJo: Michael has a PR for the definitions change which is necessary for FPWD

<Sheri_B-H> MaryJo has commit access for merges

<Sheri_B-H> MaryJo: There is a build issue, errors in static in HTML

<Sheri_B-H> MaryJo: four errors, definitions it couldn't find

<Sheri_B-H> Janina: missing anchor tags

<Sheri_B-H> Janina: apostrophe s is screwing up dimension's, the definition is dimension

<Sheri_B-H> MaryJo: will work on Michael's branch to fix the build issues

<Sheri_B-H> MaryJo: Then will merge, because the fixes are required (you can't merge with build errors)

<Sheri_B-H> Sheri: Four use cases - one person consulting company, small design company, large for-profit, NGO. No details, will be editors note that asks for comments

<Sheri_B-H> Sheri: Jeff to draft editors note on spreadsheet technology, email to Mary Jo

<Sheri_B-H> Janina: needs to figure out where to host the google sheets

<Sheri_B-H> Jeff has updated google sheets to align with document updates, Sheri needs to look at adding formulas to the other ones

<jkline> https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1E0b72b8HvRf-kDRxCAsqkkb4ZBvw1UsiithcVQWsu0Y/edit#gid=859850637

<Sheri_B-H> https://w3c.github.io/maturity-model is working draft

<Sheri_B-H> Janina: APA CfC requires two days, but we usually go for five business days

<Sheri_B-H> MM subgroup, then RQTF, then APA

<Sheri_B-H> that will take approximately 2 weeks

<Sheri_B-H> This group needs to be completed with changes by August 3 to have CfC and FPWD approval by late August in time for TPAC

<Sheri_B-H> Sheri: pull MM proposal for TPAC from last year, and use that as a starting points

<Sheri_B-H> Sheri: Will email to this group after this call

<Sheri_B-H> https://www.w3.org/2021/10/22-silver-maturity-minutes.html

<Sheri_B-H> Action item for everyone is to review minutes and propose any different approaches for upcoming TPAC

<Sheri_B-H> MaryJo - attending TPAC remotely

<Sheri_B-H> Sheri: not sure yet, probably remote

<Sheri_B-H> MaryJo: Where should links to spreadsheets go? In the individual dimensions (with the link to the specific tab) or at the top or both?

<Sheri_B-H> Sheri: keyboard only use, easier if we have a link directly to the tab

<Sheri_B-H> MaryJo: do we put the link in the individual dimension before the table?

<Sheri_B-H> Sheri: agree with Mary Jo, the scoring table makes more sense after you've viewed the spreadsheet

<Sheri_B-H> Proposal: Have the entire spreadsheet downloadable at the top, and each dimension will refer to it's specific tab and the link will be before the table

+1

<nadinesienel> +1

RESOLUTION: Have the entire spreadsheet downloadable at the top, and each dimension will refer to it's specific tab and the link will be before the table

<janina> +1

Sheri_B-H: Mary Jo will make the link changes per issue 86 and Janina will provide the link URL for the updated spreadsheet to update in the doc.

Sheri_B-H: Jeff will create the text noted earlier and send to Mary Jo.

Summary of resolutions

  1. Have the entire spreadsheet downloadable at the top, and each dimension will refer to it's specific tab and the link will be before the table
