McCool: The RFC refers to HTTP, which implies it is only HTTP, but it is supposed to be not protocol dependend.

Philipp: Isn't that something we should review in 2.0, as a general overhaul?

McCool: Yes, we want to use extensions for it.

McCool: We haven't dealt with CoAP as much as with HTTP.

Philipp: Security in CoAP is also a very complicated topic in itself.

McCool: Exactly.
