Meeting minutes

Minutes review

Apr-27

<kaz> (typo fixed)

McCool: minutes approved

PRs

<kaz> PR 294 - Intel - Home Assistant examples and README

McCool: I have 6 new TDs and include bearer tokens
… I tried Node-RED for discovery and it did not work with bearer tokens
… and the reason seemed to be node-wot

Ege: node-wot can work with bearer tokens
… probably the problem is in node-red

PR 295

<kaz> PR 295 - Automated testing and documentation

McCool: The new TDs pass validation and were added

Ege: I added a hard-coded way to go through all the inputs to validate
… ideally it should me an intelligent for-loop
… we are still lacking a lot of manual.csv

McCool: This PR is already merged

PR 298

<McCool_> PR 298 - remove comments

McCool: The next PR did removed some comments

PR 300

<McCool_> PR 300 - add node-wot manual csv

McCool: This PR has old manual.csv but will merge anyway

PR 301 - Update hitachi-nodegen.csv

PR 301 - Update hitachi-nodegen.csv

McCool: Same issue as before, but this is the fault of the template
… merged

manual.csv

McCool: I will delete the iana assertion and merge immediatly

PRs - revisited

<kaz> PR 296 - Create 2022.06.Online

McCool: Last PR is for the June Testfest/Plugfest
… I suggest to do the Testfest starting 4-8 June 2022
… Proposing times: Either 7 am Eastern Daily, 8 am Eastern Daily except Wed to avoid Main call (9 am on Wed), 9 am Eastern Daily, 10 Eastern Daily
… should we do a doodle?

Kaz: Yes

McCool: kaz will do the doodle for the above times

ACTION: kaz to create a doodle to see the tie for the June Test Testfest

McCool: *adds todo-list for preperation*

Ege: For profiles we still don't have a Plugfest experience

McCool: I would expect that by then we would have a first draft for profiles
… Profile spec is still mutable but will focus on testing assertions in the actual draft
… we will test anything that is not in a draft
… this round is only focused on testing and filling gaps
… We will continue to fill the 03.Online
… then we need to copy and reorganize the directory structure for the new Testfest
… will copy on May 25

<McCool_> https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/pull/296

McCool: updated the PR and merged

Issues

Issue 297 - Organize June 2022 Testfest

McCool: *minor update*

Issue archival

McCool: Fady, did you finish archiving old issue?

Fady: no, was on vacation

McCool: will close them for now, you can re-open them if needed

Fady: For last Plugfest, I would like to add a label

McCool: Good idea

Issue 266

McCool: closed

Issue 265

<McCool_> https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/issues/265

McCool: Can it be closed?

Ege: need to check, these kind of issues are the ones that should stay and be resolved

McCool: *add "On Deck" issues to Plugfest Wiki page

<Ege> https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/blob/main/events/2022.03.Online/process.md

Kaz: getting nicer shape now. thanks!
... the next step should be asking people for contributions
