Meeting minutes

minutes

<kaz> Apr-4

McCool: propose we publish minutes for April 4, with minor corrections for typos
… any objections?
… no objections, let's publish

PRs

PR #288

https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/pull/288

McCool: no real updates, waiting for new test results; Andrea should be providing some soon

PR #295

https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/pull/295

McCool: updates to S&P considerations, including making them normative
… has been reviewed, updated, and I think is ready to merge
… merged

PR #296

McCool: Create internationalization.md, copying content from issue, so I can cite it in wide review request

McCool: is this in the right place?

Kaz: yes, ok

McCool: alright, I will merge and start the wide review for i18n using the "editor's version"
… I don't think we have time to wait for another WD update, and there are few cleanup things to do (review/remove ed notes, etc)

McCool: merged

https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/pull/296

PR #297

https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/pull/297

McCool: discussed last time, moves TM section up above S&P considerations, puts it under API definition section, where it belongs

McCool: any objections to merging?

McCool: squashed and merged...

Schedule

McCool: have this goal for April 11: "Clarify which normative sections should be included or should be improved"
… with merger of S&P considerations (which are now normative) one thing is taken care of

McCool: just want to check issues now to see if there is anything else pending that might cause normative changes
… seems there are some issues open that should have been closed.
… closed https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/issues/291
… closed https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/issues/293

Issues

McCool: going to go through issues and see what else we can clean up
… label with "defer to Discovery 2.0", "Propose Closing" etc.
… seems there are number of open issues that I think have been resolved
… and others I'm not sure of.

McCool: for instance, this one:https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/issues/265
… let's take a look and see if it has been resolved...
… I think this has been addressed with the new S&P text, so closing; can always reopen if necessary.

McCool: in general, several "Propose Closing" issues, like https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/issues/263, can probably be closed now
… but given the low turnout today we can wait a bit more, but asking for final comments on these

<kaz> Issue 254 - Review Security and Privacy Considerations

McCool: some labelling issues with https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/issues/254, but it can probably also be closed; but again, let's wait until next week

<kaz> Issue 234 - JSONPath as a search query language

McCool: then there are bugs, like respec errors and link checker errors: https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/issues/233

Kaz: will do this after static version, probably just broken because applied to ReSpec version
… but I will check the static HTML
