Discussion on issues or prs

jscholes: good communication no updates

2022 Roadmap update

Matt_King: contracts have been signed and planning is occurring. Very first sprint for Bocoup on Monday. Discussion over next couple of days. Seth do not know if you can talk about that.

s3ththompson: We are still working on sequencing. First quarter will be user journeys for the test admin. Focus will be on the issues that came up with reviewing tests. Reviewing working mode line by line to identify high level themes.

s3ththompson: Isaac is planning on meeting with groups to discuss pain points and then will move to development. Not sure which particular task but looks like versioning.

jschole: As PAC will be facilitating the versioning we look forward to meeting Isaac.

s3ththompson: The working mode during the draft phase assumes issues are raised. It might be worth updating the working mode to reflect that the admin is making the changes visible in the app.

jscholes: I agree and do not want to derail the conversation but we are looking at addressing that and need to make sure we are getting feedback.

Matt_King: As co-design occurs if we could figure out what is explicit in the working mode and the other version issue is capturing the version of the screen reader testers are using. AT version, Browser version are hot topics.

V2 of Intro Video

Matt_King: email discussion going on about v2 of intro video. Do we want a short list or long list?

Hadi: is it a question of a select box or a list box?

Matt_King: current video is using a switch. Settled on using a combo-box as it fails on a mac.

Matt_King: Voiceover does not support active descendant right now.

Matt_King: I thought the discussion was to have a shorter list and not a long list. Because it does not have selection following focus. It is the one that is truly broken.

jscholes: If the video is going to be updated then I am of the view it should be quite hard hitting. Like medical result or exam questions.

Matt_King: the specific options in the select would be up to the producer. It is actually pretty hard to imagine any form that anybody could not imagine doing any other way.

Matt_King: I do think access to healthcare is a good topic as it applies to all cultures. I would like to make a video that endures. Why we started the project and where we started the project.

jscholes: i think we should just agree to something is universally recognized and just get done.

Matt_King: I think the feedback of what you select on the form should be important as possible is good feedback. Maybe an input on the form might be the more critical path is more critical than the one suggested.

s3ththompson: would it be worth using the prescription idea, such as which medications you are taking, existing conditions, or medical exemptions.

Matt_King: I think those might be multi select and it would need to single select. That is the only requirement there.

s3ththompson: If those seem directional correct, that is the feedback.

Matt_King: yes, those are correct. Seen as the path of critically correct.

Hadi: How about in-person, tele-health, or lab visit.

Isabel: I think if we are looking for an academic exam that is up against a time limit.

isabel: that might show a sense of urgency

s3ththompson: I will put that down as a suggestion too. We can ask the director for their example.

Matt_King: the only reason i felt the medical option is more compelling applies to any human. The exam feels a little more targeted.

Combobox test plan conflicts

Matt_King: we do still have conflicts. I thought these had been cleared.

s3ththompson: it looks like the conflict is in the output.

Matt_King: That leads me to believe that people are using different versions of the browser.

Alyssa_G: I can go back and look over those.

Matt_King: I am not sure how you got those results. What we were hoping is you would have said the command does not work in this situation. Don't conduct the test but raise an issue because the test is wrong.

Matt_King: I think the only way you could get that is because you were in browse mode.

Matt_King: the test has been updated.

s3ththompson: I have been doing some digging and it looks like it is the version from October. The plan of action would involve some manual work to unblock this entry.

Matt_King: the version needs to be updated. I don't want to do this till after we land this change.

s3ththompson: when this last came up we were in the holidays. I have documented the context to make sure we fix this particular issue.

s3

Matt_King: i would like to be able to copy prod data into the sandbox to simplify testing.

s3ththompson: sure, let us start the conversation.
