introductions

ulrike: voice user interface designer
… background in phonetics and UX

debbie: reviews presentation

<Bev> Hello!

ulrike: interested in finding out what is going on, would like to see handover between toolings available
… looking at voice user design tools and how to transfer concepts

dirk: interoperability between agents is an aim of this architecture. Would like to see concrete examples. what concepts are you referring to?

ulrike: phases of design process are not standardized, a concept would be what happens in a dialog

dirk: we didn't consider development phases

ulrike: there are different types of tools that developers use, handover is usually manual
… like passing high level dialog concepts, like intents, convert to tooling
… components of the tools can be interchanged
… interoperability of conversational tools
… e.g. Visio

noreen: concept mapping tools
… like MindMap
… can export from Visio to Excel

ulrike: likes Knowledge Graph representations

interfaces

dirk: (reviews changes in interfaces)

https://w3c.github.io/voiceinteraction/voice%20interaction%20drafts/paInterfaces/paInterfaces.htm
… sometimes semantic interpretation goes on in dialog but then doing things is missing

dirk: need to add line between dialog management and selection service, could be audio out or command to be executed

dirk: still need to go through tables
