JF: wondering if there is any value showing in code example?
PaulG: we could do that
JF: looking some paragraphs and showing some examples will help cementing the ideas.
PaulG: we rely on verbal where pronunciation matters. it is very important to give machine enough info.
Alan_: w3c is saying, you should always put the lang attr in HTML document.
PaulG: its not HTML violation
JF: but it is WCAG requirements
janina: I am wondering if this is violation of EPUB. will take a look
janina: declaring a lang is required in EPUB?
<JF> language preferences actually happen in 3 places: the document, the AT (preference), and the OS.
<JF> @janina ePub accessibility mandates WCAG 2.x conformance
PaulG: if anything comes in mind, feel free to add as a comment
