Update

grahame: Change "outside the FIHR community" to "not using FHIR operationally"

Slides here: https://tinyurl.com/fhirrdf2021-09

(David reviews slides)

grahame: what preprocessing is needed?

david: Full preprocessing list is here: https://github.com/w3c/hcls-fhir-rdf/issues/86

Grahame: maybe gen exhaustive list of fhir:valueX properties to map in @context?

grahame: I viewed the JSON _foo approach to extensions as a mistake.

paul: All datatypes in FHIR are complex.

grahame: Any solution that requires preprocessing is a wrong solution.

Action: David to add fhir:index to the preprocessing checklist [DONE]

grahame: timeline for this? Months away?

david: Yes.

grahame: Current R5 timeline is to have all changes in by mid Oct. But we'll have to extend that anyway. Mid Jan?

david: What if it didn't make the first R5 ballot?

Paul: Could it go into the second R5 ballot?

grahame: Keep working on it, we'll figure out the procedural issues later.

Paul: If we can aim for Jan, that will at least give a target.

grahame: Where are issues listed?

david: Issues are on github.

grahame: Change proposals need to be documented in Jira.

Action: David to get jira going and record proposals/decisions there

Action: David to post a link to issues on zulip
