dirk: we only have authentication in the nested IPA

debbie: we don't want to redevelop an existing standard, but we should be able to use existing one

tobias: authentication could be a kind of metadata. you could have different identification points throughout the interaction

debbie: don't want to step on enterprise-specific authentication
