Meeting minutes

jim: what if the user needs to ask the user about which voice agent to invoke?
… how to represent the generation of a new dialog?

dirk: when it comes back from the NLU the dialog manager decides what to do by asking the Dialog Registry

debbie: is issue 20 finished?

dirk: no, stuck in the middle, done with client layer, then in dialog layer, completed ASR, NLU, and the rest is open

debbie: can we review the part that's done?

dirk: rearranging, can review up to section 3.2.5

dirk: goal is to make sure that everything's consistent, has to map to what's described in the walk-through

debbie: let's look at the diffs in GitHub

dirk: acknowledgements
… checking affiliations

(reviewing changes for issue 20)

debbie: should explain why audio is going to two components

dirk: at the time of the input we don't know who's going to pick it up

debbie: every provider that the IPA knows about is going to get the input

dirk: there should be more explanation of that

debbie: we shouldn't delay the publication for this

dirk: we can create a "postponed" issue

(create issue #24)

dirk: still needs to correct the section numbering
… review dialogs, provider selection service may need major changes

dirk: can finish by July 8

jim: can we just publish now?

dirk: at least I want to change 3.3.1, which changed a lot

debbie: let's prioritize 3.3.1

dirk: will do that
