<wseltzer> present=

tony: there is WD04 add Diff . that completes CR package.
... any objections
... any objections. Hearing none.
... any issues to address; no open PRs

<wseltzer> Next meeting 6 January

tony: what are thoughts on Level 3

agl: we have some thoughts on minor things for L3

tony: should we extend the charter,; scope

agl: some minor changes, but get them documented.

bradley: we want to look at authenticator recovery.

akshay: I would like to explore more about charter.

tony: some things worth considering for 2021
... we should make a list of tiems.
... items

wendy: if re-charter, we will adopt the new Patent Policy

selfissue: where is caBLE

agl: don't think it needs web authn changes.
... there are other changes adjacent to caBLE, .

selfissue: I agree with Jeff that this should be labeled wd05

wendy: also related to naming
... if you go TR/webauthn it still goes to level 1
... I think the group can decide.

agL: I think Level 2 is version now and we should appoint to that.

many agree

nickS: it seems logical to do this.

tony: any issues?
... to discuss

<wseltzer> PROPOSED: point to level 2 as "latest version" at CR

<wseltzer> no objection

tony: there is one that is open
... #1522 issue

bradley: not sure web authn can do here. maybe be CTAP

agL: as a browser we could gete stuck here.
... browsers will do best-effort

tony: so this is something to discuss, but likely closed with explination.
