Draft animation

Sebastian: wondering about the voice for the narration
... male or female, synthesized speech or human voice
... (plays the video)

McCool: the image is good

Sebastian: will respond to the animator about the next steps

McCool: would be good to have voice-over captions

Cristiano: agree

python-labthings: https://github.com/labthings/python-labthings/pull/117

td2dd-transformer: https://github.com/acgtic211/td2dd-transformer

Sebastian: we've been talking with Philipp from RIOT OS
... and there is another related project named WoT-TD-Java
... also Cristiano's WoTSimFarm

McCool: nice for the explanatory video too
... maybe we can add a link to this

Cristiano: still ongoing work

McCool: good to have a tutorial

Sebastian: there is a link saying "try it out!" which includes an animated version of the WoT logo

Cristiano: yeah, using the CSS animation features

McCool: next one is StressThing project

Sebastian: this is kind of old project but could set up some collaboration with Thing Description
... e.g., handling request/response
... and next one is td_interface_builder
... nice to see implementations of WoT

McCool: these links should be included in the WoT Marketing repo pag

Sebastian: the proposed HTML page is available at: https://w3c.github.io/wot-marketing/

McCool: could be included in the Developers page at: https://w3c.github.io/wot-marketing/developers/

Daniel: we can add the additional resources to this page
... if some of them are broken later, we can remove them

McCool: we can add them as the starting point

Sebastian: btw, had discussion with Lagally
... got suggestion we add TF leaders to the page

McCool: yeah

<dape> https://danielpeintner.github.io/wot-marketing/

McCool: where to put it?

Daniel: have some proposal as above
... adding a link for TFs

McCool: could have something abstract like "activity"?

Kaz: we've already started discussion on how to integrate the existing Wiki pages and this newly proposed "WoT welcome page"
... Ege has started initial survey for that
... and I also created an issue

Ege's survey

Kaz's issue

Sebastian: can we merge Daniel's proposed updates on TFs?

McCool: would be a bit confusing
... we should generalize "Calls and Meetings" section to "Activities" and put a page summarizing each TF
... can also list Editors/Chairs, etc.

Breakout demo

Kaz: can we use the remaining 8 mins for that purpose?

McCool: ok
... we had summarization discussion during the PlugFest week
... wondering about the Asia-friendly time

Kaz: also we need to ask people to join the session and provide videos
... asking NHK to provide a video shorter than the one they used for PlugFest and concentrate on their demo part

McCool: right
... if they could provide a demo on their proposed haptic device, that would be nice
... anyway we need to send a "Call for Participation and Video" message to the whole group

Kaz: yes
