Steven: Updated a couple of documents

Submission vs. load

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2020Oct/0001

Erik: At the beginning of XForms 2, one of the features was submission everywhere, and then use could use submission as an action, something similar to the unification of load and submission that you are proposing.
... we should look that up, as an interesting refresher

<scribe> ACTION: Steven to investigate old "submission everywhere" idea.

<trackbot> Created ACTION-2289 - Investigate old "submission everywhere" idea. [on Steven Pemberton - due 2020-10-23].

Erik: The idea is why do you need a submission element rather than an action

Alain: Submission is indeed a bit bizarre, like a function that can be reused, but it isn't really.
... I would prefer an action with parameters.
... check out the xquery the way that they they serialise in the doc function for adding contextual parameters.

ACTION-2288: Add spec text that explains the relationship between

required and validity

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2020Sep/0010

Steven: Done. Please check the text. Not much new, just reordered really.

Test Suite and server

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2020Jun/0006

ACTION-2287: Add appearance="tabbed" for select/select1

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2020Aug/0008

Steven: Nothing to report on those two.

AOB

None
